I started enjoying photography when I had children. It was a way to document their growth from infants to fantastic human beings. As I progressed and continued learning more of the art of photography I grew to appreciate it for what it became to me: an art.
During my tenure of “still learning” photography (and I am still learning to this day) I came across the book The Pulitzer Prize Winning Photographs. And, frankly, that is why photography.
We have fantastic technology available to us that any and everyone can become “a photographer.” Today I enjoy exploring photography techniques and bending light to my needs in ways not normally performed. Two of my favourite photography techniques are currently using digital cameras in pinhole photography, and using “old” digital cameras to create pieces of art.
